David Clayton-Thomas  is a Grammy Award-winning Canadian musician, singer and songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist for the American band Blood, Sweat & Tears. Clayton-Thomas has been inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and in 2007 his jazz/rock composition "Spinning Wheel" was enshrined in the Canadian Songwriter's Hall of Fame.  In 2010 Clayton-Thomas received his star on Canada's Walk of Fame.  David’s first album with Blood, Sweat & Tears sold ten million copies worldwide. Bozo the Clown, sometimes billed as "Bozo, The World's Most Famous Clown", is a clown character created for children's entertainment and was hugely popular in the second half of the 20th century.

It was Larry Harmon, who not only bought all the licensing rights to the Bozo character but also became Bozo, who contacted Joel Diamond about recording a new Bozo record.

Diamond brought on Ron Dante, who was the famous lead singer of the Archies’ “Sugar, Sugar”, one of the biggest single records in music history.  Dante lent his voice to the demo and co-produced the record with Diamond.

 "Pals" has an extremely catchy hook and is perfect for film or commercial.

James Darren is a television and film actor, television director, and singer. During the late-1950s and early-'60s, he had notable roles in such films as Gidget (playing Moondoggie), The Gene Krupa Story,  All The Young Men, The Guns Of Navarone, etc. 

He also had the starring role in the hit TV show "Time Tunnel."

James Darren also wound up recording and having a string of pop hits, the biggest of which was "Goodbye Cruel World."

More trivia, James Darren was the singing voice of Yogi Bear in the animated film and had his own character "Jimmy Darrock" on an episode of The Flintstones.

Joel Diamond produced and reinvented their standard hit of "Aquarius/Let The Sun Shine In" with the original Fifth Dimension featuring Jamie Foxx protoge and hip-hop rapper, Conrad Hilton.

Paul Anka discovered Don Goodwin and made him his protege.  Anka came to Joel Diamond to co produce and release the new Don Goodwin album on Silver Blue Records.

The Happenings had nine singles on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, including "See You In Septemeber", "I Got Rhythm", "Go Away Little Girl", & "My Mammy."  Bob Miranda's silky and immediately reconizable voice was one of kind!

Jay and the Techniques had only one huge hit called "Apples, Peaches, Pumpkin Pie" which went high into the Billboard Top Ten Charts.

Lorna Luft is an actress, author, Emmy nominated producer, & singer ... and incidentally, is the daughter of Judy Garland and sister of Liza Minelli.  Lorna created and toured with a dazzling show dedicated to her mother:  "Judy - The Songbook of Judy Garland."

Vaneza was the star of Nickelodeon’s huge hit & first all Spanish sitcom, "The Brothers Garcia."

The song "One Life To Live," was originally written for the ABC-TV soap opera of the same name on which Massey starred as a lead character for eight years as a ficticious Country Super-Star.  Casting director, Mary Jo Slater, recruited Joel Diamond make fantasy-become-reality and sure enough, Joel got Wayne a recording deal with MCA Nashville, and Wayne charted on Billboard's Country/Western charts multiple times. 

"One Life To Live" defines many people’s lives and their goals, and Wayne also recorded the song in Spanish.  Joel then brought on board Larry Butler, producer of all of Kenny Roger's hits include "You Decorated My Life", The Gambler," (and many more), to work with he and Wayne in Nashville.

Jeff Fenholt was the original star to play the lead role of Jesus, in “Jesus Christ Super-Star” on Broadway. After several recordings with producer Joel Diamond, Jeff appeared and preached on his own weekly National television show, which was in select worldwide syndication.  "He is a young, good looking, and an amazing singer", said Jimmy Swagert.  

Before his passing, Jeff had a huge following visa vie his massive congregation that he built.  It was through Jeff's personal contact with icon Savladore Dali that he not only introduced Joel Diamond to this famous artist, but also brought Mr. & Ms. Dali to Diamond's Cenral Park South Penthouse for dinner. 

Rose-Marie is a Northern Ireland singer, television personality, actress and radio personality and very well known in the UK.  She is considered by many as the Bette Midler of England.

Rose-Marie was voted 'Most Popular Singer', and has sold out at the London Palladium on more than one occasion

Genevieve Mariko Wilson is an award-winning actress, singer/songwriter, and dancer. Her award-winning comedy short film "Turning Japanese", directed by Paul Bickel, garnered 16 awards, with Genevieve winning 3 Best Actress Awards. She also recorded the popular 80s version by The Vapors, "Turning Japanese", produced by veteran Grammy-nominated producer Joel Diamond, which climbed the Hot Dance Club Charts to #9 in the UK, and also climbed Billboard's Dance Charts to #39. Her second recording with Joel Diamond, "Heavenly Body" also climbed the charts in the UK.

Robert Tepper is best known for writing and recording his huge hit “No Easy Way Out", from the “Rocky IV” motion picture soundtrack.  He also paired with singer Benny Mardones, and together they wrote Mardones' smash iconic ballad, "Into the Night", which earned them a Grammy nomination and has now been charted in Billboard Magazine for a record breaking 4 times.

His performance on “Rain & Tears”, originally a #1 record by Greek superstar Demis Roussos, (also lead singer of the group Aphrodite's Child featuring Vangelis) in the 70's, is nothing short of breathtaking.
 

Ike & Tina Turner were regarded as "one of the most potent live acts" in R&B ever.  Ike & Tina  were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and had two singles inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame - Mountain High" and "Proud Mary".  Rolling Stone ranked them No. 2 on its list of the 20 Greatest Duos of All Time.

When Joel Diamond first met Ike Turner he was married to Audrey, a drop-dead vocal clone of Tina.  Joel immediately took them into the studio to produce the classic Janice Joplin song "Piece Of My Heart" for his label Silver Blue Records.  Takin' Back My Name was one of the last recordings (guitar/vocal) that Ike made. 

Addrisi Brothers, who also wrote “Never My Love,” which hit #1 three times by three different artists.  “I Can Count On You” originally impressed Clive Davis enough to land the Addrisi Brothers, with the direction of Joel Diamond, a recording contract (and their first #1 record as recording artists) on CBS/Sony Records.  The redux of “I Can Count On You”, now in 2016,  has morphed into a more R&B direction, including spoken word by Terry Young, background singer for Michael Jackson, Rod Stewart, Adele, etc. "We've Gotta Get It On Again" by The Addrisi Brothers went to #1.

This all began when Joe Pesci called his friend and producer Joel Diamond, and asked him if he wanted to see a private pre-release screening of "Raging Bull."

Within two days Joel Diamond was in the studio producing a live 40 piece orchestra and being conducted by brilliant arranger Harold Wheeler. The Robert De Niro/Joe Pesci movie, “Raging Bull”, was nominated for 8 Oscars and voted by many critics, including Roger Ebert and Gene Siskel, as the best film of the 1980s and won the “Best Film Of The Decade” award.  

This instrumental adaptation of the classical piece, “Cavaleria Rusticana,” charted Top 50 on Billboard Hot 100.  There are two versions of this recording available; one with the beginning and the ending having the sound of the boxing ring “bell” along with the roaring crowd, and the other without either - take your pick.
